The Central Library of the University of Ioannina organizes user training seminars throughout the new academic year. The seminars are addressed to all members of the academic community (undergraduate/postgraduate students, researchers, faculty members) and aim to inform and familiarize users with the electronic and non-electronic services of the Library.
The seminars are divided into two levels depending on the degree of specialization of the services offered.
First level:
It is mainly aimed at students and includes the following:
- Operation and use of the University of Ioannina Library
- Online catalogue of the University of Ioannina Library
- Electronic catalogues of other libraries in Greece and abroad
- Greek electronic databases
- Interlibrary loan of articles and books
Second level:
It is mainly addressed to postgraduate students, researchers and faculty members.
Includes:
- Operation and use of the University of Ioannina Library
- Online catalogue of the University of Ioannina Library
- e-Library.
- Electronic journals
- Electronic catalogues of other libraries in Greece and abroad
- Electronic databases of Greece-abroad general and by subject
- Interlibrary loan of articles, books
