Open Access – Open Data

Open access refers to free, direct and uninterrupted internet access to scientific content. Conceptually, it is part of Open Science aiming at universal access to research results, but also to data (Open Data) on which those with the minimum of restrictions. The University of Ioannina supports the Open Science movement and the Library and its staff participate in the working group of Hellenic Open Science Initiative (HOSI).
