The library of the Arta Branch, within the framework of the information literacy program, organizes a seminar for first-year students of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications. The seminar will take place on Friday, November 25, 2022 at 14.00 – 16.00 in the auditorium A of the Department, and aims to acquire knowledge from students on the following topics:
- Library services and how I can use them.
- Reliable sources to search for Greek and foreign bibliography.
- What is open access.
- What is a literature search strategy.
- How to write a (undergraduate/postgraduate) thesis. Instructions, model.
- What is plagiarism and how to avoid it. Turnitin: plagiarism checking software.
- How should I use bibliographic references and how should I compile bibliography?
