On behalf of the Hellenic Academic Libraries Link (HEAL-Link), we would like to inform you that access to the CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform™ has been activated.
The CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform™ offers three core services:
- CAS SciFinder, for searching and analyzing scientific information,
- CAS Analytical Methods™, for discovering published scientific analytical methods, and
- CAS Formulus®, for evaluating ingredients and regulatory information for product development.
The CAS SciFinder Discovery Platform provides immediate identification of chemical substances (structures, names, properties, regulatory information), as well as information on chemical reactions (schemes, step-by-step procedures, conditions, and yields) from reliable sources, and offers real-time retrosynthetic design for exploring predictive and experimental synthetic routes, as well as access to hundreds of thousands of published analytical methods
To activate and use the CAS service, the creation of a personal account on the platform using an institutional email is required, as well as internet access through the institution’s IP address.
