The Hellenic Academic Libraries Link (HEAL-Link<\/strong>) has signed a contract for the access of all Greek universities to the JSTOR Essential Collection<\/strong><\/a>.
\nAccess control is done by IP address<\/strong> of the Universities, as for all Library subscription resources.
\nThe JSTOR Essential Collection contains 681 core journals<\/strong> in 45 academic disciplines, including History, Psychology, Sociology, Business, Economics, Political Science, Philosophy, Archaeology, Law, Music, Literature, Art, Architecture, Mathematics, Geography and other key fields of study and research. Full-text articles are included for all issues of each journal beginning with Volume 1, Issue 1 up to the issue after which a rolling embargo applies. This rolling embargo refers to the gap in content between the archival (previous) and current (most recent) issues of a journal and is defined by the journal publisher. Most journals have a 3-5 year backlog of inclusion in the JSTOR archive. JSTOR<\/strong>In addition to the quality of content and breadth of coverage, the JSTOR Essential Collection offers users all the benefits of the JSTOR platform JSTOR<\/strong>, including searchability, access to the JSTOR workspace, co-location with thousands of Open Access monographs and images, integration with discovery services, comprehensive data and usage reports, and access to the JSTOR support service.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
