Open Access – Informative online presentation<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Library and Information Center of the University of Ioannina, in collaboration with the Scientific Communication Unit of the Hellenic Academic Libraries Link (HEAL-Link), organizes an informative event on the Open Access Agreements of HEAL-Link.<\/strong> Specifically, the basic terms of the Agreements as they have been formed for the three-year period 2022-24, and how they are utilized, will be analyzed.<\/p>\n

 Open Access is a dynamic movement that positively influences scientific research and its visibility. It is now seen as a prerequisite for the dissemination of research results by the main funders and by academic and research institutions. The Greek research community has taken several initiatives in this direction, with the most recent development being the establishment of a competent Committee by the Rectors’ Conference and the establishment of a Working Group for the development of a national policy on Open Science.<\/p>\n

The event lasts 1 (one) hour and is addressed to the research community of the University of Ioannina. It takes place through the Zoom platform and registration is required to attend the seminar.<\/strong><\/p>\n
